How is google chrome compared to fire fox?

I've tried almost all browsers I know of and I personally find google Chrome to be the fastest. However, I still prefer Firefox, it's still fast enough, it's more addon friendly and I prefer the general feel of it. I guess it boils down to personal preferance

Is chrome easy to adjust to after using firefox?

i've tried ie, firefox, googlechrome, seamonkey, and opera, but i still prefer firefox.

i personally use firefox, but the shockwave games dont seem to work with it.

Yeah it is fine, I use it now instead of FF.

As for the fastest, Safari is the the fastest, but not by much. It all comes down to what you want out of your browser, that also gives you the fastest performance over all.

Firefox is great for addons and speed.
Chrome great built in functions and speed.
Safari edges on speed by a bit, overall though meh

I couldn't believe that Chrome was faster than Firefox, so I downloaded it myself.


Yes, it is faster than Firefox but being an add-on cake like myself, I still prefer Firefox

yeah, i've noticed that. i tried gourmet club bowls, and even though i downloaded shockwave, theres still some gray blank page thing

and here I thought it was just my computer. fiendish firefox

For me, chrome is like a 17 year old boy. It's fast and powerful when it wants to be, but much too unreliable and slobs off too often. I prefer my 35 year old man, firefox which can be slower but always does it's job.

I've never had a problem with my '17 year old boy'. lol... But like you said since it's younger, it gets the jobs I need it to do faster without fault. I mean if I want run a GM script that is a different story, but now with extensions with chrome, I might not need FF at all =p

I thought Opera was pretty fast back when i used it; I personally stay away from Chrome. I use Firefox as my preferred Browser, due to speed and customization.
