Hey, I know I can google programs (and I have) but I was wondering if there were any easy to use and recommended programs for making java applications. Preferably cross platform from Win7 to OSX, although OSX compatibility has higher priority.

Hey, I was looking at Eclipse downloads (intellij needs a license) and there are two... Java EE and Java. Whats the difference?
