any xbox360 owner around here ???
well, if your the lucky owner of a sh*tbox, have you ever had the 3 red flashing lights problem ???

for now, tried to disconnect/reconnect all cable, tried without HD, even without LAN. NOTHING !

So I'm currently trying to call xbox support canada...

In some way, I'm lucky. I didn't pay for the xbox (won it from pepsi contest in canada, I received it before it went out in store) but I just can't imagine how people who payed for this actually feel when everything goes wrong.

Anyway, any idea to solve that problem that worked for you ?

Try googling it, my friend had and xbox 360, but he didn't like it so he returned it. He said he got a faulty one because the case was shaky and didn't hold to the thing and it would really heat up.

My friend modded my xbox original, and the light on the front blinks different colours. It's pretty nifty. Niftier than the 360. Pssh.

Wow thats too bad about the xbox, the first few that come out are always messed up. If you buy the new models they are fine thats why i never buy stuff on release. by the way coke is better.

When it goes red, it can be insufficient power supply or overheating. It happens a lot to my 360. I use a intercooler and it sometimes does that on its own from a short in the intercooler for insufficient power

You'll have to explain me why you bought an 360 to play a game who was designed for the regular xbox.... and there's still no date announced for halo 3

Just go to bungie and read their updates

    Final reply on that thread:
The xbox 360 won't get repaired. Not under MS warranty anymore
Beware if you buy a Xbox, this product is crap and won't last you very long, plus you'll get a shitty support from Microsoft. The guy on the phone told me they were getting A LOT of return for this blinking red lights problem but since I received my xbox november 2005, I'm out of the 1 year warranty. They are aware that their machine has some flaws but refuse to do something about it.

I'm just so angry right now. :x

What are you even talking about?

They know it has some bugs. That's why everyone who's ever bought an xbox got a year long warranty, and if they had to get theirs repaired, they're sending the money back to them, without the people even asking for it.

Honestly, mine doesn't run that great, but it's the games that I usually have the problems with.
