Al Gore?

I dont think al gore deserves his prise! what do think think about al gore?

 

I like him pretty much. Not because of the whole global-warming thing, but because he was one of the people that really started internet.

 

I don't know who would deserve that prize. He is trying, he is actually doing something. Right now, there is really no one else out there as a public figure doing something.

I like al gore a lot. he is a nice dude and is actually doing a lot for all of us.

but anyway... al gore is full of s**t... anything to get a bit of attention and money....

 

I don't think he is doing it for money, he has enough. and for attention he could do a lot more. he's actually doing somethign that matters.

 

i watched a movie he made it was pretty well detailed about the earth and its environment so it'll be nice if he became president and fix all these problems

 

I voted for "Smart Man" because thats what he is. He wanted, knew how to, and succeeded in grabbing the attention of the "masses" and educating them somewhat on the topic of Global Warming. The movie went off on some tangents, and had some unneccessary parts that clouded the actual facts, but it was overall very NEEDED. Although, most everyone is still amazingly ignorant when it comes to global warming....

I personally think that we will basically keep contributing to global warming until Mother Nature forces us to stop. And by this time, there will be huge, irreparable damages to the earth, and its wildlife, ecosystems, cycles, landmasses, basically everything.... : /

 

I don't really dislike/like him but his views I believe.... Much better than the Evangelic Christians that don't care about the world and all they can think about is that god will "save them"

I voted for "Smart man" as well, although I don't necessarily agree with what he's saying in the least, he certainly knows how to make an impact on society. Takes a smart guy to be able to convince millions of people the world's about to flood.

 

Yea how was he the one who started the internet... My teacher told me the first Network over about 4 colleges connecting over a large distant.. I don't know if he was in one of those colleges but I don't believe he started the internet.

 

Well, Al Gore didn't invent the internet, but he did help move it along. No "one person" really invented the internet, it's the work of a bunch of people...

omg al gore is a loser! he doesnt do crap!!!! literaly! he is dumb and they give him a reward! wat the heck!?

 

Actually I have watched parts of "an Inconvenient truth" and it WAS an eye opener. A site I found on the internet said something like 40-50 years we won't have anymore oil and close to 25,000 species become extinct every year. So him actually bringing it up makes him a well deserving of something at least.

 

*puke* Never!, he will be horrible at pres. I would pick Clinton she would do a very good job.
