I was wondering if it was possible for a program to work out the angle and power needed to hit a bullseye in Ultimate bullseye.

It would have to have a version of optical detection to pick out the target it would then work out the angle and power to get the curve needed for a bullseye... and maybe even run it?

it is very possible to make but would be somewhat of a pain to create since it would be using advanced mathematics.

Is there no way to take information from the game to get the equation between the power and height, because surely if UB can work out were the arrow goes from an equation in a flash game, that a gifted scripter wouldn't have too much trouble making his script work out were the arrow goes and just run every possibility through the equation, until it finds the few that will work and uses one?

Ofcourse that could of been a load of rubbish so dont mind me.

There would be a fomrula in the script but will still need to understand flash game physics. SCAR isn't the best choice since it can be unreliable at times. Most people who would be making scripts would not have had that much experince in the math needed to calculate the arrow's final location

It's really actually basic physics. Calculate the in-game gravity (which isn't all that hard, it's probably constant). You could use a protractor on-screen if you really want, to calculate the angle and stuff.

Give me a couple of days.

    Sounds tough.

I'm having a hard time figuring out the angles need just for Bouncy Supreme

wow the idea is making my brain explode.

It wold be great because i really want the avvie. We need a mathematical and a computer genious to do it though. :/

Not really anyone with experience in physics or even game programing this wouldn't be hard to figure out

Thats what the program will do, surely the program can just run your bog standard BBC bitesize approved formula to give an angle? OR use the same calculator the game uses to direct the arrow.

Well I was thinking you would do it this way, seeing as the game will have ether set values... or formulae to create values... and output it into an animation in flash, Surely just using those values/formulae in an custom built (Customised to return not just the angle, but the power required at said angle) angle measurer (Or even rip one from the game itself if possible) You would get a few numbers back. Then you could go on to make something that would take the value and use it.

It does sound pretty intense, and it's probably harder than that. (I can't do the above, but it sounds somewhat possible to me).

If all else fails, can someone give me a pointer into what language this would be coded in, and some tutorials for absolute novices on said language :) (I'm not going down without a fight).

Can anyone crack me the values (Or tell me how to crack them from the game, is it possible to force download it and just take a look at the action script)? I would test some values on it and see wether it gave serious answers or if im delving into something that is a bit deeper than i thought. Also would they measure the distance and height of the bullseye in pixels or mm or cm or miles?!?!? - If so would we need to use an optical recognition tool? or could we crack the distance straight from the running game?

Well goodnight, im sleepy got things to ponder. People to apologise to :~ been a bad boy.

I think this topic is being driven out of it's poligon by people demanding brains and not insistence. :p
