Soccer or Football ?

    how do we have to call it and why???
    personally soccer does not exist...it's FOOTBALL!

    We americans like to be different from the world and like to call sports differnet names that are not similar to other countries

    The PC games that have Soccer in their name are lame and those that have football in their name are cool. Sooooo, Football wins :p

    Well, I'm German and I'd go with the British and call it football. But I think, if you call it soccer, everyone, British or American, understands what you mean... so probably soccer might be better...

    I call it soccer because if we called it football in north america then we would be talking about American Football which is a lot different. Funny thing is in soccer you use your feet the most. The only time you kick a football in American football is a punt, special teams or to score the fieldgoal.

    I live in US, and i still call it football, I'm always out of the loop when my friends are talking about American Football, thinking they were actually watching a game i have seen lol.

    football makes way more sense coming from the meaning of what "soccer" actualy is. Since we kick the ball we our feet, soccer should stay as football. The americain football has nothign to related to when tackling the ball, sure u kick the ball once. BUT THATS IT.

    yeah i dont really get the terminologies, in football you just hit the crap out of people and maybe on special teams or field goal attempts are the only time one kicks a ball.. its kinda weird . i think football is more fitting for soccer as you use your foot. what does soccer mean anyways just a made up word or sumthing?

    Yea the U.S. like to be differnet for no reason doens't make. This is also like why dont we use the metric system its easier to use. count by tens

    Well, in my country they refer it to as Soccer, nobody calls it Football here.
