Stupid Shows

Anyone think there are some stupid shows out now?

I flip around on tv and I see all these shows that dont make alotta sense to me. Hole in the Wall seems completely absurd to me. Japenese Gameshow and Wipeout on abc seem kinda stupid as well.

I actually enjoy those MTV and VH1 reality shows... although I admit that some are rather boring/stupid (Hogan/Brooke Know's Best, Uhm, that one about that hefty asian woman, that one about Vivica J. Fox). Then there are the ones about dating: Exposed, Next, Ex-Effect, etc.

Those I don't understand at all. They meet, spend an hour or so together, and then "supposedly" go on a date/become bf/gf offscreen. I just don't see the point in them. I'm sure no one has met there one true love on a show like that.

But there are some good ones.

I thought America's Best Dance Crew was good (I liked season 1 much better honestly). Real World is nice and full of drama. Making the Band is pretty good from what I've seen. (Only say like 2 out of 4 seasons)

And you can't forget my all time favorite, Shot At Love with Tila Tequila. Season 1 was the best. Season 2... I just hated virtually everything about it. (more specifally the ending)

But... I think its more about personal preference than anything...

I've never seen Hole in the Wall and haven't watched ABC is months, so I can't comment on those...

personal opionion, I think that show is a waste of space..

I think most shows nowadays cater to an audience with an attention span of about 15 seconds.. loud, bright, flashy, with virtually no plot. [which is probably why there are so many reality shows on air]

[though, I can't really talk, coz the only shows I watch are cartoons and possibly Reaper (best.show.ever)]

but the ones that are good are REALLY good. Shark, CSI -tries to think of more-

but I'm getting old.. don't watch much TV anymore..

 

Mostly all 'reality shows' on TV nowadays. I never understood why people went crazy for all the drama and stuff that went on. Which may be why I enjoy that 'Total Drama Island' thing on Cartoon Network. Satire~

 

yeah reality shows are the worst. i can't stand how they only cast the craziest, most dramatic people and never have anyone "normal". if it were reality most of the people wouldnt be ticking time bombs.

 

I agree with the reality shows. But shows like the Colbert Report and Daily News with someguy also seem stupid to me. Its like they keep talking and talking nonstop.

 

lol i like those shows they make fun of all the stuck up politicians and give a little bit of news at the same time.

 

I agree, all the reality/dating shows on MTV... but theres a few stupid ones on Bravo too. Like Million Dollar Listing, Date my ex, and Flipping Out... theyre all reality shows too .. suprise...

 

All of em' are stupid. Im sick of it. Ive stoppeed watching tv.

 

Everyone just puts the same shows on all the time. I personally hate reality shows, except the real world, which I have been watching for year though.

Man..I watched it all..and I think it's just scripted to be crazy dramatic or something.
Especially when the people got really emotional during elimination and what not.
Found it a little lame, bottom line.
Hole in the Wall...just..LOL. Who the heck wants to watch an hr of people doing that?
Basically it's all just a rip off of actual game shows, with Americans on it.

 

Silent Library.. Seems so pointless. And just Japanesee shows in general XD I always wonder how they came up with such crazy ideas ? :b
But especially Silent Library. We just started that show here .. Ohmygosh, it's painfull to watch sometimes : D lol

I love New York, Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, etc.
LAME LAME LAME.

They pick someone and within a few months, they dump them so they can make another season of their lame show, and make more money -_-

 

nothing really stupid , just that stupid new seasons of old shows can really get stale quickly

 

I hardly watch t.v anymore but I hate reality shows.
I would rather watch cartoons. xD

 

The Hills is kind of boring IMO. My sister loves it though

 

Many of the shows on E are pretty bad.

 

It's kind of strange reality TV over here isn't scripted so I enjoy it but it's not a massive market Big Brother is the biggest reality show over here really. It's really funny because the American reality shows like The Hills and Shot at Love ect. when they air here they have to put a warning type thing first saying something along the lines of some scenes have been created for dramatic purposes. I do watch America's Next Top Model and I did watch Simple Life as well (which also had one of the warning things). The only thing I definitely switch off for is sport xD I mainly watch channel 4 here and pretty much everything they air is interesting to me.
