How about a program that signs up countless random accounts then when it see's something alerts you or logs you in and buys? you dont need emails you dont needto register the accounts just sign up til they stock.
Unless they changed it so you cant see items in the cove but i dont thing they have....

... horrible freeze rate without proxy support...
and with proxy support it'll be pretty slow so you won'tget anything anyways with that much people checking the cove I guess

In my opinion, I don't think a cove buyer would be successful cos by the time your proxy-fied account detects something in the cove, I'm pretty sure tons of people would have grabbed the item already. And then you'll have to wait like weeks before another item is being released into the cove ._.

The unfortunate thing with programs is they have to be tested a few times usually before the programmer gets them right. You need to find the exact command that the browser sends to the neopets servers in order to buy the item. And that means you actually have to BUY the item. It's easy to do when you're making a regular autobuyer, because you can always just buy a junk item. But with the cove, the odds of you actually SEEING an item are incredibly slim. Which is why an auto-cove'r would be insanely hard to make.

    I don't think it'll ever happen.

The only feasible thing would be to have a whole bunch of junk accounts with proxies checking every minute or so, and then alerting you when the page had the item on it, so you can manually go with your main and buy. That's sort of the only option I see.

Edit: Looking back, that's pretty much what you said in your OP. It /might/ work. Slim chance though.

I don't think that works. I'm 95% sure you need to use Live Http Headers to actually SEE what data the browser is posting when it clicks a certain button on the page. I could be wrong though, I'm not that knowledgable in terms of making programs.

The programmer would have to be a legit cove restocker in order to catch the post data you mean..?
But as soon as the programmer does that, I doubt it would take more than a v1.2 to have a working program..
I've never gone into the cove before :arf: but would it be a high freeze rate if you made a program for the cove?
