After testing some proxies today, I went to whatismyip.com to check my IP again, and saw that it was 42.xx.xxx.xx. I thought "This is weird... I'm used to 285.xx.xxxx.x!" I checked to make sure all proxies were off, and I still got the 42 number. I then checked on all the other computers in our house, which are connected to the same internet, and they all displayed 42. Does this mean that my ISP changed my IP and that I now have a clean slate as far as cheating goes? I had ~5 accounts frozen for cheating over the last three years, all black marks on my IP. Are those now gone?
...I've had my IP show wrong a few times when looking also. I don't know the reason why but after a reboot it went back to normal. Also, check your PM's. It may surprise you.
Yeah, that was very surprising, in the best kind of way possible. Thanks a bunch, Junior! Edit: "You must spread your reputation point to other users before giving to the same user."
Just to make things even more fun IP for this post: 75.73.xx.xxx (Look up IP) So your not on 42, and you've never ever had 285
