Anybody else play? I've been playing CS for about 4 years now, I love it . We've rigged it at our school so that the computers there can play too. Anyways, if you play CS 1.6, CS:S, CS:CZ or anything post here and maybe we can play sometime.

Well, I figured a way to shut-down vision client which allows the administrator to see what you are doing on your computer. So, we shut down vision client and then next is the Protection Shield. None of this stuff has been passworded or changed so that non-admins can alter it so it's fairly easy to get rid of. With both of these gone everyone can DL steam. It's quite fun, alot of people in different classes have figured out their own ways of playing but I prefer to shut everything down so I don't get caught.
I used to play religiously, then realized theres nothing to gain from it, kinda like neopets lol. And just like neopets...most, id assume 99.99%, of the people who go like 30-1 on PUB servers in CS are using aim bots and wall hacks and whatnot. This becomes VERY obvious once you start cheating yourself and view the game from their view and notice they are looking at guys through walls as you are.
Yeah, this is true. I only hang around in pubs that I have been playing with for 4+ months. I usually just stick with my clan though. CS is fun though, especially when you have alot of free time.[/quote]
i play cs and tfc, tfc competitively because im way too impatient for cs lol infact i only play in the cs deathmatch servers to avoid camping/waiting to spawn
Yes. I personally dont like the campers either. That is one of the most annoying things to have done to you. A way to beat that is to camp yourself.
lol I play xbox sometimes but live seems overated i mean why play with other people when you can just play with your friends x.x
Re: lol Man I dont understand why you would play counterstrike on the xbox...unless of course you down own the pc version. Some people claim theyre much better with the console controllers than with a mouse and keyboard, but if they switched theyd be much better with the mouse and keyboard. Two joysticks is just a sorry emulation of the mouse and keyboard anyways, and you cant get any more preicse than with a mouse (with current technology, none of that mind controlling stuff)
Counter-Strike in my mind was designed for the PC. There is no way that an Xbox controller can come anywhere near emulating a keyboard and mouse. The fun in CS is all in the way you play by being able to customize hotkeys and binds that suit you. With the Xbox you can't do that. CS is a more PC positive game in my opinion.
I have not played it on the xbox so I don't know, put the pc has the mouse so its easier to get shots off quick
the FPS genre was built for the PC. But a lot of gamers couldnt afford very expensive computers with top gen video cards so they translated the genre to the console with games like goldeneye (1 joystick) and then halo and unreal and others (dual joystick controls). Theyre doing the same thing with RTS games now.
i play cs condition zero. that is cool.. i play missions in cs cz. practicing using missions. really cool
I've made a couple thousand + hardware at a LAN tournaments. I was CAL-I season 8-10, CAL-P s11-12 so I'm pretty good.
didn't cal p start around s10? highest we were was cal-m. started playing in 01 and quit in 05. once you realize your spending so much time on a game that wont give you as significant return as your education, it just doenst seem as important anymore. cough cough neopets cough. plus the fact that you start to realize theres multiple cheaters on every pub server, although we mostly just scrimage. Also our clan disbanded so that led to the collapse too. For those just starting now, lol dont waste your time. remember its just a game.
