sometimes it surprises me how ridiculous TNT acts, that insane Neopets brazilian monitor "paganmachine" (knowed as mo or mimo) just made a new rule by himself: Chats are not allowed in Portuguese Boards anymore! borrow topics has been prohibited too :nope: ... Isn't it stupid? all my friends are leaving neopets now...including my best friend, after theer years playing and having a premium account. Neopets is kinda over for me now, u know. ok, sorry my bad english, I just have to get this out x]
That doesn't make any sense. Report them. Seriously. They can't stop people from chatting in a certain language.
Moderators are only worker bees on the TNT food chain. Someone had to hire them so that someone can fire them as well
You should probably get this problem sorted out before your friend leaves. If they have invested a lot of time into the account, it would be a waste for something that's pretty ridiculous.
yep...If it's a rule, it should be applied in all the languages... mimo is crazy,months ago he prohibited us from posting "BUMP" in topics, he thinks he's Adam or something like that...people just report him, but nothing happens...I think thats why people are leaving, TNT staff members just do what they want doesn't matter what users do .~ ppl don't have free speech anymore....what's next? lol Do you really think that makes sense? You report a mod using the report button but the report goes right back to that mod?? send e-mails directly to tnt, and if you can, call the company..

People have contacted Neopets directly to get their accounts unfrozen, so it's not like they don't listen.. We'll have to see. If that mod continues to take advantage of his privileges, he'll eventually get fired.

That's utterly retarded. You can't deny people the right to speak, that's against rights. Neopets is supposed to be a website for everyone, regardless of what language you speak. This should be brought to the attention to some of the higher ranked members of TNT, I don't agree with this rule at all.
Agreed. I don't think I've ever even SEEN moderators on the boards, let alone ones that are saying you can't chat if you speak one language. That's ridic.
I have news. After lots of frozen accounts, deleted topics and suspended people for saying things like "you should die mimo". Chats are back! since yesterday... Yes! and I don't know what happened but mimo stopped deleting topics and nobody has seen him on boards since friday night. I heard he's not the responsible for monitoring them anymore For my surprise, the reports worked after all..didn't they hehe
Demoted? I'd say fired...after all, if you're a board mod, what are you going to be demoted to? It's basically the lowest position there is.
