Is there any reason it would take 5.9 seconds to try and buy something? Igloo is 0.2 buy time chocolate and book the same magic 5.9 on every MP i have a 10 meg connection nothing else running still missing loads any idea's?
Chocolate and book stores should not have a 0.2 second buy time. That is humanly impossible, due to the haggling involved when buying from one of the main stores. The Igloo does not have haggling, and so you have a faster buy rate.
uhm don't know why it does that... for me the time usually varies around 2-4 sec and my internet is pretty slow... It was pretty slow when the first minutes I ran it so it may just be that...
Just looked and yeah your right thats igloo 1.4 - 2 for chocolate *nod* it still makes no sense unless i just lag on those U.u
Usually, my buy time for igloo is less than 0.1 sec and main shop is between 0.2-0.8 sec. But I haven't ab in main shop for ages...
SoC would be able to explain this better than I. But basically it's not your ABer's fault. Sometimes for the higher rarity items, neopets will purposely give you slow page loads.
Well Igloo is the right speed. For me I set a 2 second minimum for buys in the main shops. When I use to do Magic or some times in another shop I get the random 5+second attempt buy, I just assumed due to lag and multiple people going for the UB... ~Parisdirt
Its probably because Neopets monitor those shops more for ABers, due to the highly valuable items it stocks.
Your buy times also vary on your nets speed and then there's those times where it kinda stuffs up and takes over 20 seconds to fail buying the item xD
I have a 20mb connection and am lucky to get 3second buys in all mains. 1.5 min in igloo. I have no idea why. I assume lag based on my location compared to neo servers.
