Is there anyone who is 20+ on here? I feel like every time I talk to someone on neopets, they seem like their a little kid or something and it turns out they are only slightly younger than me, and even more horrifingly older than me. Gah! The one thing I hate about the net is I can't see the person.
I'm the youngest person on my guild's council/sub council. Our leader has two daughters. ^^ I'm 16 btw.
I hope no one who IS in there teens take offense to my post.. but.. I feel like sometimes, well, actually people my age as well, act like they are 12 or 13. Always begging for attention, always acting like a know it all, and all that stuff and it makes me think and when it turns out they are older than they appear, i'm baffled.

Altough there are some people who lie about age and they do it for attention seeking or just to feel superior, but their age ends up being uncovered if you talk to them for a while. That's why I don't consider the 'online people' age important.
lol i don't talk to anyone long enough to find out.. if they annoy the crap out of me off the bat, why continue to chit chat?
Yup, I'm turning 15 on the 29th. I understand what you mean even if I'm young... sometimes I do that too. I just think it's a period of the life... but remember that nobody has the same life as someone else.
mhm. Ricky is a perfect example of this. I never used to think he was 14, thought he was much older. Expons only, like, 17 as well.
I tend to assume most people on Neopets are younger than me. I'm 20 so I'm sure a lot of people on neopets are older than me, but I think I come across younger ones on the boards. And I find the older players in the guilds. But age doesn't matter overall, it's how people chose to act. When it comes to certain computer related issues it seems to be the younger ones that I can turn to for the best advice! lol
I've found that too Rebecca. Whenever I'm on the boards I'm one of the oldest, but I'm one of the youngest users on neofriends and in my guild.
Ricky i guessed, but that's for its username... displayig what year he was born but Expon... I thought he was much older indeed. I'm 19 for myself, getting 20 soon. I don't think all neopets players are younger. In matter of fact I'm on some dutch Neopets boards as well where a lot of people are actually older than me.
