yes, yes, yes! IT'll be worth that and more... esp. if you have a high-end graphics rig (drools over DX10)
I'm definitely upgrading. It looks like it will run much faster. Hopefully it will do as much as I think it will, at least so there's little to no disappointment along with wasted money involved.
Yeah, any upgrade should be great. My sister just got a laptop and they said they'll give her a free upgrade to Vista when its released. Can't wait to see what its like.
I am saving up for a new computer with windows vista. I would not trust those 'windows vista capable' PC because when the day Vista is out I am sure there are many better hardware that will come out with it.
no there won't be... I can assure you, Microsoft took their time on this one, this has been the first OS where the release date was actually pushed back just so they could work on fixing problems... so no., it'll be well polished
Hmmmm something positive about MS??? BTW.... I have some Tennessee beach front property to sell... interested?? <just kidding> They said the same thing about XP and after over 600 updates to correct "their security issues" (and counting) you think this is going to be different? chelsea1 for now I'm with you... and just wait to see all the problems they'll have with it
are you even informed? they did NOT push back the release of XP, and besides which os do you use? probably windows, and which os do over 80% of pc users use? windows XP... 'nuff said
AMD is NOT better... look it up, I've been over this with someone else before edit: here's the benchmarks if you don't believe me full article: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/sh ... spx?i=2795 gaming benchmarks: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/sh ... =2795&p=14
Well....For one my machine couldn't handle it but besides that I would possibly consider it Maybe 6 months to a year after its release because really I'm not gonna pay the most likely 300+ dollar software that is gonna be buggy and that I will have to update every week. So Why not stick with Win XP until they some what get it right?
no matter what you do you can't avoid updates... it's a part of windows that you just have to get used to
Oh I know this but I expect that when it is first released it is gonna be quite buggy and fairly open to attack so I wish not to take my chances just yet.
no it's different than you think.... the file system has been improved... so for the most part it'll be "unattacked" for the first couple of months... then when you get it is when there might actually be viruses for it
