if so, how good is it? i no the graphics are great, but is it easy to work with once u get the feel of the interface?
I have never heard of that but good luck finding out the answer. I thought you were talking about the old old days when Mayas where around. XDXDXD
ya. i have seen games which were created by that program and the graphics for that program are amazing!!! i think nintendo used that program for some of their games...
i used it once, but i cant stand the rendering in the free version, the images come out pixelated and with a very annoying watermark.
really? do u think it will be worth it if u buy it? or should i jus stik to another 3d rendering software?
i have used rhino 3d and i really liked it, it was nicer and more professional looking, and you can get it for $150 i think
yeah, heres what some people have made http://gallery.mcneel.com/?language=en&i=24068 http://gallery.mcneel.com/?language=en&i=152 http://gallery.mcneel.com/?language=en&i=12014 the face one is really amazing, i dont understand how people do that kind of stuff
Well, you can always bypass the watermark stuff by taking a screenshot of your final work, then open photoshop and save it from there. Doesn't that work?
it will ruin most of the image, autodesk is very careful about not having people bypass their security
well then i guess you will jus have to buy it. but hey, the graphics are amazing. im sure it will be worth the buy.
hmm... i was saying that maya was hard to bypass the watermark in, if you get the rhino trial, you probably could take a screenshot of it, but ive never tried. you should get the trial before you buy to see if you like it.
I've been having some classes about Maya during my time on college. I've tried it for myself but I was continuously confused with the interface and after 3 months of trying I finally gave up. From what I hear from other people (who _are_ able to work with the interface ) that they can make nice 3d graphics with it, but most of them prefer to work with 3Dmax, for some reason.
In my opinion; no. I'd prefer the video tutorials on the web, since you can play them back when you don't understand. You can find some of them here: http://www.simplymaya.com/
