    Speed up boot time? I've read it many a time before and read some stuff online but all taht stuff sucks. I don't want to DL anything just wondering if anyone knows of a good way to speed up my comps boot time. Much appreciated.

    Easiest thing you can do is go to start > run ..type in msconfig. Go to the startup tab and unclick all the programs you don't need to startup. Be careful not to turn off your anti virus or other important programs this way.

    remove all unnecessary files in your computer.. it also makes your computer works faster. Like he said be careful on what you are removing.

    after you scan and remove a bunch of stuff, go on the left side and modify which programs start up when you boot your computer.
