Ok heres the story, in december last year i built a computer. i was kinda low on a budget so i had to get a cheap motherboard. the cooling unit on the motherboard broke so i replaced it with a passive heatsink. i runs realy hot and then after like 15 minutes it shuts down. so i put a (really loud) fan right in front of the heatsink. ok problem solved. then i opened up my case a yesterday and found out that the fan i installled made one of the compacitators (or whatever those things that look like mini batterys are called) fall off. ok so now i have a loud computer and a missing compacitator on my motherboard ( the computer still works though). Do you think that its time to buy a more expensive motherboard even though i got the broken one a few months ago?

Yes, it will probably be a lot easier to work with.

Wow seems like its more trouble than its worth. I guess it depends really. My motherboard had to be replaced a few months ago. It really sucked because all my programs were lost

you could have moved your hard drive from you old computer into an internal to external hardrive ccase and extracted the needed programs from there
