What is the deal with Coltzan's shrine? I've read a bunch of guides saying that depending on when you click it, you get something different, i.e.-click 55 seconds past the second and get a dubloon <- i have tried for months and have never gotten a dubloon. Also, does he really give out 1 million nps at midnight?
The million points at midnight thing is a bit of a myth. I know of someone who won the million neopoints once and it definitely wasn't at midnight so my conclusion is that it's random. You can get better results than the million NP though - about 3 years ago I was given a Kings Lens that I sold for 20 million I am also inclined to say that there is an element of luck where all of the results are concerned with Coltzan's Shrine. I find that you are more likely to have the stat increased that is lowest on your pet (although not always) rather than being able to control it through what time you visit. I have managed to get dubloons a couple of times by trying to go at 55 seconds past the hour, but I have gotten far more randomly.
yeah it used to be like that, until tnt saw out the time watchers etc and made it random. Now its sorta like the daily giveaway, it runs a script and lands on a event and that is your prize =)
Has anyone gotten a million before, i mean someone here, not heard fromm a friend? I thought it was done with. lol. But yeah I always get levels up and nothing that great
midnight on neopian time is like 3 am here lolz ive tried to confirm that myth but i just couldnt resist the temptation of sleep >_<
xD The best thing I got was a 10 dubloon coin and that wasn't at 55 seconds past I've tried that in the past and it never worked
its random not.. long ago. well gives me dubloon pas 55 sec.. but now it wont work.. about it giving millions in midnight i think i dont heard it before. maybe dont work..
I think it does give out items at a specific time, though. Whenever I get dubloons, I look at the clock and it seems to be around 45 seconds just like the guide said. Or maybe I'm just lucky =)
A friend told me that there's a high probability of giving bd stats bonus to weak pets, but as your pet goes stronger it seldom gives you stat bonus, but it keeps giving dublons and np's
Ooooh, I think that might be true! I used to get stats all the time when my neopet was new and had bad stats, but now that I've trained my pet a lot I almost never get stats anymore.
Update: I just went to the shrine with my battle pet and coltzan granted him 1 defense point. So I guess it is still possible to get stats, even with a strong pet, but with a rarer chance.
