[Confused] Url and Youtube

    Is there any way to get the url from a youtube video into a media player and actually work?? i've seen several guides online but their all old and their links dont work anymore so can someone help me please??

    If your using firefox you can download this extension:
    http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
    it allows you to download any video from youtube directly to your comp... then u can use what ever you want to view it...
    or...
    you can go to this site and dowload the program:
    http://www.videopiggy.com
    it does the same thing... hope that helps..

    Just put the url into this site, it'll give you a link to download the flv. You'll need a flv player, and don't forget to save the file as an flv file. No need for any programs

    Okay, let me clarify that. You don't need any programs to download the file. Obviously, you will need a program to watch it. As you would for any other video file.
