Well, I went for an interview on Tuesday. They called me back for a second one which I went to this morning, and then they phoned me this afternoon at work and offered me the position . I'm going to be working for a group of independent financial advisors. I'm being trained as a mortgage advisor mainly, but there will apparently be other types of work involved. You probably think it sounds really boring, but it's very well paid and I enjoy working with numbers and the such-like so.. Yes. I'm quite happy ^_^
Thanks! £21,000 a year (just over $41,000US) is the starting wage, but it increases once I've been trained and as I take on more things. That's pretty ace considering I've only just turned 20
Ah, you shouldn't be scared . Most of the maths is done by a computer anyway. I'm just looking forward to having a job where I can use my brain. And also have lots of money of course. Well, lots to me anyway
wow congrats, i'm looking to get my first job when i'm around 26-27, well first real paying job -.- but at 20 that's pretty nice. I wish I could make money =\ not literally but yeah...
Good for you! Getting a new job is always so exciting. I worked with realtors before, and I considered getting into the mortgage lending biz -- there's good money to be made there if you're cut out for it. I stink at sales, so I opted not, but I hope you do very well for yourself.
Saw this last night but was too lazy to reply Congrats on the new job. Very nice starting wage at 20. I hope to be an accountant when im older (also love numbers ) Hope it all works out for you. and dont abandon us while your flashing all your cash about
