Ok i'm taking the lead here, i haven't really discussed this with mods/admins but it's what I think is correct. If i get any disagreement from mods/admins I will maybe change this rule but for now ANYTHING CRACKED CANNOT BE SOLD/GIVEN/ADVERTISED OR EVEN MENTIONED! There are serveral reasons A) NF.net is a CHEATING website that cheats TNT to scoresend,autobuy,autoprice etc to make our life easier, NOT A HACKING/SCAMMING website that steals OTHER PEOPLES money, that is morally wrong. B) Fexxel seems to have had an interesting encounter with TNT about them spying here and quoting a post, I don't know much of this but any threat of TNT monitoring this forum and we have to stop it. C) It has killed the account market, and we want a busy active blackmarket over here at NF.net not a free market, we will eventually lose out in the long run and end up like the US and UK in a credit crunch and we'll have to bail out the neopians with big bank loans LOL :lol: Post comments/appreciation/love for me <3 ANYONE BREAKING THIS RULE AT ALL Will be immediately banned for ONE WEEK without warning, and further breakages will be instant permanent ban. This rule starts NOW.
Ok I just like to make a comment on Fexxel’s situation here first the story as he says it can’t be true as things dont add up also its still missing allot of info but that’s another argument. but we do not have a tnt mem stalking us... and if we did they wouldn't come out and give it away like that... On cracked accounts I think banning them all together is a mistake.. the only argument agents them in my view is if you think they are killing the account market.. and if that’s the case I say we set limitations on them … say that you can’t give them away unless threw pm and even then not to many… I say users are still able to sell them Just as giving them away may kill the market banning them now will also have the same effect.. and it will be near impossible to force.. also I think cracked accounts help our black market it gives allot more options for accounts you wouldn’t of otherwise had as 90% of accounts sold b4 were just 4month shells… no you get a choice of age name account details that we never would have had before. I think this might also turn some high profiles users away from joining the site . I think it’s the same situation as legit/ unlegit np.. I say we allow the sale of cracked accounts and I think the market will balance its self off again in time. I have ideas on the tinny details that can go into making this work. And I’ll be glad to share them / help mods/admins with them but again that’s another thing… So to sum up I think giving away large mass= no Selling them at a controlled price/rate= yes EDIT: side not that it was an admin,lvl 5 and a mod that started this market awhile ago so we created this monster ourselves
Good post but my main concern is the foundation of NF is that we are a cheating site, not any sort of hacking. And any cracking = not what our purpose of NF is, however if expon is happy to allow hacking then selling them may be possible at a controlled rate.
well most people dont sell cracked accounts... i would never do that... they always end up iced in 2-3 days anyway. I dont see any harm on giving away young accounts for people to cheat on.
I think this is a good idea, especially after what happened to Fexx. But why prevent the selling of legit shell accounts? Cracked accounts, I can understand.. but there should be no problem with actual legit accounts? -W
nooope Just the "cracked accounts" that are gained via fake login pages/scamming/cracking/cookie grabbing/keylogging Any accounts earnt through deals/aged/created/rebought etc are fine to sell <3
actually it's abou time someone said something. When I first joined I was under impression that cracked accounts and scamming of other users wasn't cool. It was all just against neopets. But when Ive come back recently it seems to be about the latter... Good rule IMO
Does this include selling illegit accounts? By illegit i mean accounts that have been in use with programs such as abers, ssers, etc
billeh disagrees i think that we should ban giving away cracked accounts as yes, it can be tracked by tnt and yes it is hurting the bm but banning cracked accounts alltogether will just hurt the bm more as it takes a very long time to get shells to 4 months if theyre 100% legit
Anything cracked is going to be easy to catch by tnt. All you need is one person report losing their stuff and you get frozen. However, i think banning the sale of these accounts/items is a bad idea. By selling these accounts it is increasing the activity of the blackmarket. I think we should have a system similar to that of selling np/items etc. You MUST state that the accounts are cracked. If not, suspensions are enforced... Selling the accounts should be allowed, however, talking about cracking accounts and how to do it etc should not be talked about

I'm ticked there are some here on this site seem to think that its ok to Scam and Hack someones account. IT'S WRONG!!! I've been a long time member and I like to think the many donations I've sent to EXPON helps keeps this forum running. If this continues to be aloud (advertising and selling cracked accounts) sadly it will be one member short. I didn't sign up and donate for those to scam others and I don't want to be a part of that..... Soc I agree with you and I'm glad someone other than myself mentioned this... I've compained on some posts when someone was advertising hacked accounts but my Opinion doesnt seem to be heard because I'm considered a level 1 member. Little do others know I contribute in other ways than making programs or guides on this forum. Just because I don't constanly post so I can be considered a higher ranking memeber doesn't mean my Opinion shouldn't be heard.
personally, i think cheating on neo is just as bad as scam on neo... Either way, your hurting someone else... and you ask how you using cheat programs hurt other people? It causes inflation, which means they have to work harder for something... but w/e, i'll still scam accounts... To me, it all does what i want, the uter destruction of neopets > Once they fail, my /hope/ is they sell it to some smaller company that cares and stops this NC mall crap...
I don't think people should sell cracked accounts or give them away in the first place, TNT has gotten way too strict over the year because of these account hackers, And my account was frozen for no reason since
