They think you're rich/you're rich. I just think that that is the lamest thing. A lot of people try to neofriend me and talk to me just because all my pets are painted and I used the FQD avatar. They always assume just because I have the avatar that I have the doll. Does that ever happen to you? What do you do about it? How can you tell they only want your for your nps. I know people aren't really trying to be my friend when they start asking to borrow stuff from me or for me to give them stuff after barely getting to know me. I usually just stop neomailing them back, they end up getting the picture.
Just block neofriend requests, thats what I do -shrug- If they want to be your neofriend then they have to work at it and get you to add /them/
I usually get them when I try to sell things. Not so much just from my account. They always think that if they neofriend me I'll give them something for cheap or free.
That happened to me a lot on my other account (now frozen.. *stupid TNT* *mumbles*) I usually do the same thing as you guys, which is to stop talking to them, and if things start getting out of hands, I just block them.
I get random neofriends requests but I think it's mostly because I participate in the beauty contest. They never ask for anything. (Maybe I look poor?)
I used to get lots of requests. Then I blocked NF requests and put in size 24 font, "LEAVE ME ALONE!!"
Yea that also happens to me a lot. If they are just trying to be my neofriends without asking for something, I just say yea we can be neofriends, and you understand when they are interested in your items or just being your nfs. About those who ask for items, I pretend not to have understood/read the part where they asked for the items and answer to the other part of the neomail They will get bored enough and stop neomailing you if they just want your nps.
I get at least 2 or 3 neofriend requests a day. Most of them because I'm stelling stuff and I have painted pets. I've been changing my avatar already in a simple one (an avatar everybody could get) but it doesn't help me much :?
they think im rich, my pet was zapped by boochi so its baby and i have the lab map so one pwts painted (my lab pet) and my accounts around 35 months, and i take pride in my account along with some side themes and a pretty good deal of secret avaters. truth be told im not rich :lol: ive bought 4 xmas paintbrushes somewhere in may so i can save em for xmas but other than that....but then i tried to be nice and accept and they never mail me, usually i give my friends gifts on hlidays so i guess people think that if theyre on your friend list theyll get gifts from me :?
I don't get neofriends often, but I've only accepted three.. I don't really add them on there.. Even when I had my bank account displayed (i had goalie trackers) I still didn't have a problem.. I did have someone ask for my Pink Cobrall the other day.. she kissed my ass so much and then asked for something.. so annoying

i think it would sometimes be better if i didnt have any actual friends on neo, usually i end up doing more for them than myself, i once ended up buying an entire lab map for a friend of mine, i dont regret it hough because even though she doesnt do neo anymore she's still my best friend ^^ i do have really great friends
