I just started playing recently so i was wondering if anyone else is There's some good prizes on for insane but i'm in the lost desert on normal mode so whichever prize i get this time will be bad
Pffft no, I wish. Died once, still in Chp one on my second try. The worst part is that you only get a healing potion like once every five battles. Horrid.
and its amazing how on the highscores list there are some people who have completed the game on insane in under 10 hours....thats ridiculous
Haha, finish NQII quick? It took me a few months, because I played it on and off. But just the training alone would take ages. What I did on Insane is, when you start training, get healed by Roland's mother whenever your health gets too low. Eventually you will stockpile enough healing potions, when you get 20, just use the 20th on your character. That way, when you train, you don't have to go back to the village so often to get healed. If you train this way, around villages with inns, it isn't going to be as expensive as buying potions. So just keep doing it like that until you get Velm. A way to not use as many potions is to train in normal mode, not hunting mode. It may take a little while longer, but you do gain health points for every step you take. I think you gain hp for 6 steps, and depending on the level, how many hps. It's the hardest to train in the 1st and 2nd act, because you don't have Velm to heal you, or as many people to back you up. If it isn't too late, do NOT sell your Father's sword. It's the best sword to use against Terask II, but you have to max out critical attack and damage increase. I'd suggest this page, i've referred it to people before http://geocities.com/neoquest_2/ When you get up to the last act, it'd be best not to spend all your points. You should only spend all your points when you beat Terask I. That way you can use the points for areas that aren't maxed out by your armour or weapons. I finished Insane Mode once on one account, and got the Bow of Destiny.
commyaji thats pretty good idea... i was thinking of tryin for insane for the prize but it seems like way too much effort for it...maybe i'll stick with my evil prize
Well, if you're a serious battledomer, the Bow of Destiny and Wand of Reality are great weapons until you get upgrades, like Sword of Skardsen. I'm not sure of the prices now, but I sold my BoD for about 5 million, trading it in along with some other stuff for a LEV. I suppose the time you take in playing NQII could be used to make more money by playing games, but I do enjoy the shiny trophy in my lookup.
neoquest 2 is just way to long and hard without help xD but yeah i wouldnt mind playing it at all =/ if i have the time to though
Normal took me well over a year, just because I kept losing interest. But Evil took me only a few months, on and off playing. If you try to gain just three levels a day, you'll finish the game in twenty days or less. That's less than three weeks. Of course, the trouble with Insane is that as the monsters get harder, the exp doesn't increase. Meaning you could earn less than 50 exp fighting a monster that can kill you in a few shots.
usually i love to play RPG game like neoquest 1 and 2 but the problem is those items will be recieved are not worth more than like last time when the game just came out..... :nope: Please re-read the rules. This message is gravedigging. Thanks - xxx___
good luck playing with it but for me not worth to try.... i rather focus more on game trainer or main ab'er instead!!!
I'm playing both NQ and NQII at the same time at the moment. Both on Evil! Only low levels right now as I've not really played for ages.. NQ - Evil! - level 14 NQII - Evil! - level 5 :/ Finishing on Normal was the biggest anti-climax ever (or close to it anyway ). I knew the prizes were terrible, but still. After all that effort.. it was almost unbelievable to think I was going to have to start all over again. But I did.
