Today I got an "official warning" from TNT for using the word "gay" in a neomail that I sent to a friend. I was just curious if anyone knows or has any theories about TNT flagging accounts that they've recently warned. I don't have anything to hide from them, I was just curious if they'll be "watching" me from now on. It's actually kind of creepy.

Edit: Okay, so apparently that particular word is filtered here. I hope that I have not dug myself a deeper hole by posting this, but my intentions were not to be offensive.

Wow, that's pretty insane. I was just being silly with my friend through a neomail. I suppose it's my fault, because I should have known better, but it's not like I went on the boards and started trashing people with that word or something. At least it was only a warning. I would have hated to get my account frozen over something like that.

I don't think they flag accounts as in they watch them if they've done something wrong. Basically, if your account is picked up for breaking some ridiculous rule or other, a check is done on it to see how many warnings you've had previously. If you've had a couple already quite recently, you're in with a chance of getting frozen. If not, you'll just get away with a warning. So what I'm saying is that I don't think you're watched anymore than anyone else after receiving a warning - they just check to see if you've had previous warnings when they warn you.

Ramble, ramble.. Lol. I hope that makes some sense

I hope not because I've been warned for having "All my religious beliefs are based on Star Wars" in my sig. And I've also been suspended for bumping my board. I always get punished for stupid crap that no one cares about. why to TNT take it so seriously?

It really doesn't matter when it's stupid things like that. I had 5 warnings altogether on one account and was never frozen as I didn't break any major rule. My favourite warning was for telling someone on my guild's board that I'd bought something from Ebay. Apparently, it was against the rules to mention Ebay, but 2 weeks later, they were advertising them at the top of the page...

Yes, it makes sense. Don't worry, I have a tendency to ramble too. :p
This is the first time I've been warned for anything since I've had my account, and it's 5 years old, so hopefully I don't have to worry about getting frozen. I didn't think it was possible for TNT to keep track of who they've warned considering the amount of users, but with them you never know. :?

Haha. Yeah, it was that other word that means happy but is usually not used in that context anymore.
