I'm currently looking at some software to buy and it says it encrypts your connection. Does anyone to what level they would mean? I mean do you think it'd be like to a proxy type set up? The name of the software is GhostSurf.

It looks like more of a proxy type connection. It will either prvent your ip from being sown or it will change it. prevents most adds. It will also protect your from viruses.

pay proxies will probley be safer but not the saffest. If possibly get a trial and go to seemyip.com and see if the ip chnages after you go their again or a reset of your computer. Also ask them if the ip you are using will be shared with another person/s. If they say no then its good if they tell you a high amount then I would stray away

Well you do not know if other users are on the same ip and are using neopets. Which could result in a chain ice. If possible just contact the support and ask them how many people will be on the ip given and if it is detecable by a proxy. If they say that only a few people will be on the proxy then try using a side account on neopets and if after a week of no icing then you could go on to using your maon. If they say it is unique to you and untraceable then you can go all out on playing.
