I have been chain frozen a few times, but every time TNT does it, they never freeze all of my accounts, even though they were all on the same IP, but leave 1-3 still remaining (I'm sure all the accounts were on the same IP because I run the daily-doer programs on them on the same computer everyday) The last time they chain froze me, they only froze 3 of my accounts and all the others are still active. (Thank god, the username+pet names were awesome, I'd hate losing them) Weird, huh? I wonder how they do the freezing.. I used to think they just enter an IP address and click a button to freeze all the accounts on that IP but maybe they do it manually one by one or something? What do you think?
How many accounts total? Maybe it depends on WHEN you logged into those accounts.. Millions of people are logging in so I'm guessing if you logged into, lets say, two accounts within the hour, and the other handful for a few days, then the most recent would be more likely to know? I keep thinking about the behind the scenes but there is NO WAY they can be really organized back there!
Well, there was one time I had 15 accounts. TNT froze 13 of them. But the last time, which was only a few days ago, I only had 6 accounts and TNT only froze 3 of them. I don't know about the 'time' thing, because I usually use the daily doer program on all the accounts in the same hour.
wow 15 is a lot lol i only have 5! hmmm... I am not sure then.. There seems to be no logical explanation other than the "TNT HAS no logic"..
i used to have 29, to do all the dalies -.- got frozen within 2 days hmmm, i really wonder how they do the freezing too
Personally I think the freezing thing is totally random. Given all the information given by previous posts would suggest this. Cause surely if one person has 10 accounts on one email, they would ban all of them if there was a problem not just some of them. Seems stupid to me. But that is tnt for you.
what offences deserve an IP freezing? I know someone on my machine abused a glitch and they werent frozen...nor was i. i found that kinda weird. but that was probably because they did not take a large amount of nps.
There are lots of things. 1) autobuyer 2) earning money on more than one account 3) transferring nps (earned from cheating etc) to other accounts. 4) abusing glitches can get you chain-iced as well. There are probably more, but I cannot think of them at the moment. So, anyone want to add to this?
auto buyers...that's sad.i was planning on getting one. now i wont.. i love my main too much. I think posting non neo related stuff on the boards regularly gets you IP frozen too?
Using multiple accounts to get more stuff from dailies is also freezable. Also, auto buyers aren't the only programs that get you iced, EVERY program is against the rules and will get you frozen. This includes, game cheaters, pet trainers, etc. *edited some typos*
I've never used programs before this...and all my account use a different email,so they are not TECHNICALLY sides. but i have only one computer and IP freezing will kill them for once and for all .
That's right. Before I used programs, I used to have an AWESOME main and pets, but they all got frozen because of ABing and/or the other programs I used. If you don't want to get your main iced, don't use any programs or, if you do, use proxies. Ermm,.. or use the programs on a different account and computer.
Unfortunately pretty much everything we do on this site is neoillegal, so if you aren't ready to possibly get frozen I wouldn't suggest using the programs. The blackmarket is much less detectable though, so that would be a good option.
It's true... In neopets nearly everything is illegal xD ----------- Man 15 accounts! ------------ I have 2 \o/
It depends on how you are caught. If you are caught by an actual member of TNT staff, they will freeze manually and therefore they may sometimes miss accounts. If you are caught by one of their programmes whilst they're all at home sleeping or whatever, you are more likely to have all of your accounts frozen as the programme will just do an IP freeze
