iPod's nearly full (one of those old 30 gig ones), and I'm looking for suggestions of what to do. Should I look on eBay for another, cruddy but larger iPod, or just cycle what music goes onto it? As I'm not a DJ, there's no need for having 3000+ songs in your pocket at a single time. Anyone else ever run into this problem?
Personally I'd install rockbox on it and just cycle through songs. Then again I'm not one of those people who like/need/want all of my music library with me at the one time. In fact, I don't even have enough to fill up my 5th gen 30gb video..
If you can be bothered, just cycle through the songs. You might find there's a few you can stand to live without. I bought an iRiver back in 2006, and I'm still using it. 5 gigs is not that much, but I'll manage until it breaks down.
