Hey all, seeing as the Games Master Challenge was (in my opinion) a sucess, I want to run some more competitions on this site. Not only to they promote activity, but it is good for making friends, rivals and well having fun! Instead of us mods/admins doing all the ground work, I'm putting it back on you. There are alot mroe of you than us, so I think you would have alot more ideas. Can YOU think of any sort of competition that we can run here that would work. Just suggestions, and a rough idea how they would run. Nothing in depth, we can sort that out later. Prizes and running of the competition will be run/arranged by us mods/admins so don't worry about that. So, any ideas? Might even be an award for the person with the best idea or an idea that we decide to use
well first I think we need a recruiting or advertising contest then other contests running so that it keeps people on the site.
Problem with advertising is, it can be rigged. And its hard to track... Because we don't have a proper referal joining link...
Well I agree with a referral contest. I think there are referral mods for phpBB. Another suggestion I put out some time ago was the NP making contest.
ohhh yeah that contest where you start with a newbie account seems like fun. although lightning said something about scoresenders not working?
We could do a referral contest . Hopefully, someone can install the phpBB mod *cough*tharouxtharoux*cough*. I found one that's pretty stable and feature full, so let's hope it can be implanted
We should do a random contest on here kinda like the one on neopets. You know we can see who can create the best (insert random thing here) and make it in a random theme as well . I really enjoyed the games master challenge and wouldnt mind another one.
The only problem with ABing is that we need 4 monthers to really do anything...T__T Like a graphics competition?
No not a graphics like a random contest like neopets does. This month the random contest is making a home made altador cup hoodie. We could have everyone make something and take pictures of it and what they used to make it and then have a poll vote for the best ones. Maybe have a neofriends themed (insert random item/thing) making contest, where you can use whatever you want to make it. xD Sounds funny but it would be something fun.
That's not a problem... Just have one of us mods hold onto the accounts, which are all made same time etc. once they age, comp starts. mods can ensure they are empty when it starts.
I could donate a bunch of empty 4 monthers if we wanted to do it. I mean they aren't legit, but they are empty and aged haha
Well they start with 1,000 NP...Like all newbie accounts do. If you played legit you can turn that into 30k with very little effort from games. that 30k will buy you stuff at some shops... That is one competition I won't take part in.. too lazy, connection to slow. etc. Sounds good though.. Seems a few are keen for it.
