I no theres a way u can get rid of that top banner with a firefox add on. I cant remember how 2 but. Anybody here no how to? I dont mean via adblock, that only gets rid of the banner and not the area. I want 2 get rid of the area the ads appear at aswell. I have done it before but i cannot remember how to do it
That blocks the image but not the banner area. Sorry i should have made it clearer. I will edit the first post
I remember, that you had to edit some stylesheet files and you hab to store them in you FF-folder... it worked untill TNT changed the layout... I don't know if it's still working that way... there were several PP's where you could get the code. perhaps ask in a Neopets-forum?
if you use adblock plus you can block page elements. block: #*(id=ban) #*(id=bottom_ban) #*(id=ad_wrapper_fixed) It's pretty much the same thing as using your own css like onhttp://www.neopets.com/~Malaconus except with adblock you can easily switch the blocking off and on.

Apologies if this is considered gravedigging but i do have something to add... I found the way to do it, firstly download the ChromEdit plus addon for firefox, you then need to go into the chromedit add on and a window will come up where you can click on 1 of 3 tabs, click on the middle one (usercontent.css) and scroll right to the bottom of the window. Copy and paste this into the bottom... div.ban,div#ban, #ban, .ban, #ban_spacer {display: none !important;} .ad_wrapper,.ad_wrapper_fixed,#ban,#ban_bottom {visibility:hidden !important;} .adBox2, .footOverlay { display:none !important; } Hit save and restart.
