    Ok...

I am moving... Out into the boonies.

Verizon told me they don't do my DSL out there... when I say boonies... I mean... i'm surrounded by 20 acres of trees.

    No cable either....

I called other internet service providers. The pretty much told me.. If Verizon Can't do it... no one can

    is this BS...

please give me other options. Does anyone have any ideas. I don't know anything about computers. I just know I can't live with dialup.

    I have a phone line. I have a laptop.

Verizon told me they have some little card I can stick in the lap top... but im not so sure.... because I figure if I don't have cell phone coverage... why would the same company with the same towers give me internet reception...

    Any ideas?

You could use sattelite. That should work anywhere but the research is up to you for good providers. No cable, no cable modem.

yea I've been researching... and I can get wild blue for 50 bucks. for 512 kbps or I can pay 70 bucks for 1mbps.... and since I will have 2 laptops on it I should get the larger one.

Dam expensive... But... That is the price I have to pay for peace and quiet.

i am pretty sure standard dsl is 1.5 mbps, but you decide if its worth the extra money, but you can try searching for a dsl isp by using http://dsl.theispguide.com/ it works great and you can find a cable or dsl isp :)
