Eh.. For media stuff I just use LimeWirePro. It works. Some days it seems like I can't download anything though! Even if my connection and speed are all good, it just won't download.. Kind of a pain.
Limewire pro is bareable if you wanna filter through all the junk when you want to download popular stuff, but i use shareaza and that works brill for me

wow, anybody who uses kazaa is royally FUKED! Seriously; 1. Kazaa IS Illegal 2. Kazaa has been rated the number 1 virus sharing file 3. Bundled with Spywayre and Ad-ware 4. Its just not safe. I use limewire pro, best thing there is!
Only Kazaa is illegal?.? eMule is legal?.? However from me (I dunno if also in other parts of the world) there is a new law say that download files also non-licensed isn't illegal if done nonprofit. Some years ago I used the Kazaa lite version, that I remember seems not have spyware or malware... but eMule is really better.
When I started downloading I didn't use torrents because they looked really intimidating compared with just having a program that does all the searching and downloading, but once you get the hang of it they're definitely better.
All of those programs except azures suck, but if you really want to be on the safe side, learn to use irc. Other than that torrenting is the only other option if you want to be safe.
I have not had any problems with limewire to date. I only dl music though. For movies I use uTorrents, it's quick and easy.
