Introduction Ahem, so I decided to make a shorter guide than the ones I have (for once). I have noticed that a lot of you guys :X: haven't really used Google Chrome. So, I decided to introduce/convince you to maybe try it . THE Guide First off, you need to download Google Chrome: Google Chrome for Windows Once you have downloaded it, Google Chrome has a way of obtaining your information. It can track the websites you've been on, your IP, almost everything, so to counteract that, download this: Unchrome View some basic features of Google Chrome: Google Chrome Features Looking for Greasemonkey? Well, for Google Chrome, it's called Greasemetal: Greasemetal Download Like to block ads? Read this: http://lifehacker.com/5046529/how-to-bl ... gle-chrome Are you getting this: Well, this is what you need to do. 1. Right-click Google Chrome 2. Properties Code (Text): C:\Users\*User*\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -no sandbox Here's the bottom line for browsers. Notice how close Firefox and Chrome are. 1a. Firefox 3.1: A tad slower than Google Chrome, but they are catching up. Add-ons separates this browser from the competition. 1b. Chrome 0.2: This is one of the fastest browsers with nice features. It has a lot of new features, but it needs some add-ons and slight fixes. When Google finally finishes, I think this will be the top. 2. IE8: Nice improvements, but still needs some improvements for any competition. 3. Other browsers... Chrome will eventually get better, there is no doubt. If Google is able to add some add-ons and minor fixes, it will surpass Firefox, but for now, I think Firefox is still better. I think right now, you might want to start on Chrome and get used to it, because I am anticipating something really good. Yeah I've heard a lot of things about Chrome being similar to Firefox. I still like Firefox better, just because from personal experience it's worked better with things around the internet than Chrome.
Well, Chrome is just like Firefox just about. The only thing I think would be a downer for cheaters is that Chrome doesn't have any add-ons. That's basically the thing Google needs to do to compete with FF. Also, Chrome still has some bugs, but I think Chromium, the open-source browser might be even better.
That's why I don't use it, the lack of add-ons, and the bugs. It's still a fairly new browser, as opposed to Firefox which has been around for a while. I might begin to use it as an alternative when they fix it up a bit and it becomes more stable.
Well, Firefox can get annoying if you have a lot of add-ons because they make it slower, but cheaters need these...
