Awesome game :D The second one made things a lot harder, I can't even beat hard on it and I was most of the way through expert on the first. I do like the easier hammer-ons though, makes a lot of songs more fun than having to strum every note.

yea it is, its ALOT of fun. itll definately take some time to get good at but its really worth it. and if you buy 2 ps2 guitars you can play head to head. and if you buy it id suggest the Guitar Hero 1, number 2 has a bunch of songs that no one has heard of lol.

I really like guitar Hero. It's a complete Konami type game, though. Like DDR and Para Para Paradise. :)

    I have Guitar Hero 1 and 2. ^_^

I like the songs on 2 better. I thought it had a better balance of musical styles, and I liked playing Kansas and Heart a lot

It's pretty good, I thought the original one had a better selection of music, though.
Oh and to the people who might be interested, there's a Stepmania-like of Guitar Heroes called "Frets on fire" which you can even play with the actual guitar, like you can play Stepmania with a pad.
I can't tell you if it works really well, though, because I haven't bothered with it since you have to get the MP3s yourself for most songs, which is the really annoying part. :/

Definitely an awesome game. Don't expect it to teach you how to play guitar, but it will help you with rhythm! I didn't play the first one, but I'm playing on hard right now in this one. Fun stuff!
