do you have a system restore option?

that literally makes your comptuer go back in time

start > programs > accessories > system tools

or take it out of your recycle bin

you can still run your computer without a system32 folder?!?!? im shocked thats the folder with pretty much every important system file... anyways to fix it, you need to repair your os. get your reinstalation cd and in the options there should be reinstall reformat repair ect. and just select repair. atleast in xp, im not sure if itll work in win98 tho :?

if you go into start and then go to help and support type in the search box system restore and it should give a button or something that will let u turn ur computer back to how it was then u can hav all the stuff u deleted back if u choose a restore point before you deleted all ur files
