Hidden Tower rules

According to what I read on the BDC last night, you now can't even access the Hidden Tower if you're account is under 4 months.

And apparantly you can now only but one item a day there.

My guess? To stop things like duped neopoints getting out of hand.

 

The rule itself is cool, but you'd have to do a lil' more to stop duped nps to make profit to the users.

You were never able to buy more than one item per day.

I think the rules suck :evil:

If I start a new acount with all my np I have to wait ages before I can tower stuff :evil:

 

Is there actually anything worth getting from the hidden tower?

Pretty much most things.

They are either cool looking or amazing weapons.

 

First restocks now Hidden Tower, geez, what is TNT thinking? Like onprogus said, it was always one item per day but I think TNT should change that.

 

Aren't they normally found cheaper on the trading post?

 

Yeah most things you can find for about 100k cheaper on the trading post but usually that would be about it. Most Royal PBs in the TP do sell for around 1.75mill but you would find some that sell for 1.5-1.7 if you are lucky. Same goes for most other HT weapons.

Edit: With the exception of Squeezy Tombola Guy Toy. Only thing thats good for is the Hidden Tower avvy if you dont want to spend much

 

It does mean you have to wait 4 months untill you can get the HT avatar.

 

I wouldn't suggest the Squeezy Tombola Guy for the avatar. You lose 100k right away. I'd suggest waiting til you have enough for the Baby PB. I mean, 600k really isn't that much and the PB is easy to sell and you end up only losing 10k-20k.

As for the new rule, we should have seen it coming really and I do think it will help the item/np duping situation a little. I mean, most accounts I saw that were involved maliciously in the last glitch were young accounts. Even if it only helps a little, it's better than nothing, surely?

yeah what were you plans?! im pretty mad but then again everything is a little bit cheaper on the trading post.
