How are you able to confirm that you're using a proxy?

hey, i'm trying to use proxies.

just wondering, how can i confirm that i'm already utilizing the proxy?

is it by checking my IP address on a website ?

cause when i go to http://ipreq.com/, the ip listed there is neither my previous ip, nor the proxy / port that i've keyed it.


i'm using accessdiver btw.

i think theres a site called whatismyipaddress.com

and if it shows your real ip address then your not behind one

 

There's also another site called ipchicken.com that'll tell you your IP address. It shows you a little more information (plus it's got a chicken!)

No, whatismyipaddress.com will show your real IP address, and will show if you are using a transparent proxy. Basically, you may be utilising a proxy properly, but if whatismyipaddress.com can detect it, so will Neopets so you need to keep trying them until the site cannot detect it in order to be safe.

 

Use Vidaila. It works perfectly.
