look around the site some, there are several good guides on proxies, we should really have a sticky for one though

    Hide IP
    Hide My IP
    Etc.

Many programs, but they are only trial. Just google up serial numbers for them and you are good to go. =P I use it for creating multiple accounts for referrals.

    Firefox 1.5
Tools -> Options -> General tab -> Connection Settings -> click Manual Proxy Configuration -> input IP address of choice, and port -> check 'use this proxy server for all protocols -> OK

Internet Explorer 7.0 (This is weird for me. I'm not too sure about this. I use a proxy through using Java, not the browser itself.)
Start -> Control Panel -> Java -> Network Settings -> 'Use proxy server' -> input IP address of choice, and port -> OK

    Hope that helps.
PS: Just noticed this topic was gravedigged. I will still post this up for future references to clear up on things. I put some work into ^.
