How long do you think they keep small details of accounts on record for. I mean. They probably don't keep it forever considering it takes up server space... I'm talking about past IP addresses, e-mailes, passwords and that kind of information. Like if I change my IP address on an account. How long do you think they will have record that my account used the old IP address. How long untill that IP is safe to use on a different account and have them not be linked.
I was banned from making an account about a year or so ago - whenever I made one it would automatically freeze it. It did that for about 4 weeks, then I was able to create one again so based on that experience, I would say it's not much longer than a month
that is good information I wonder if the same goes for transfering items and such. Like if I AB an item... wait a month. Transfer it to my main... If they will still have the record for when I bought the item.
I think they would be able to find a record, but if you aren't frozen for ABing the item(s) within a week of getting them, you obviously haven't aroused their suspicion so you're pretty much safe. Just don't transfer a ton of things at once and don't do it via 'Give to Neofriend'.
After reading, im curious, was that from reading the neopian times or where did you hear that from? Im kinda worried too, like how TNT keeps track of like 40k+ players online daily... How they trace items and how long on file.
I think they keep important information for more than a year.... When they froze my 62 monther, they asked me what was the original mail account I used to create it. I've changed it 3 times since... so they do keep some infos for quite a long time.
