Wondering how much they make, weather i should get into it.. Are you a main maller? What profits do you make? How much hard work is it?
I don't know about profits, but it takes like, more than 30m for a reasonable mall size upgrade (total) and it's very hard work, you'll have to price and reprice and stock and buy
So how did those mallers get that much money in the first place? My current method of earning isn't doing it for me, on a daily basis. At the rate I'm going, I'm not gonna reach my 2 year goals.
30m really isn't that much, plus if you include cheating, it can be done very quickly. Shawn- as for stocking and pricing, there are programs that can do that So if the profit is good, this might be something to think about.
I'm pretty sure it gives pretty good profit once you become well-known. But, of course, the repricing and stocking is a huge pain if you have to do it manually. If you do have a program to do it for you, then that'd be great. But you also have to be careful about cheating.. I don't know how much TNT pays attention to mallers, but if you become big enough.. I would just be extra cautious.
I'd assume they're making more than they usually do with the outbreak of CGers, but I gotta agree with the majority of other posters here. It would be SUCH a pain to restock your shop legitly... having an autopricer would be a must.
I've never participated in a mall, but I've heard that the profits are not so great (taking into account the amount of time investment) if you're are not part of a well-known mall. Also, your profits may take a hit if you are assigned an unpopular item type.
A friend of mine had a reasonably sized mall before and said he made about 300k profit a day. He'd built it over a long period and basically just pours back everything he makes in to getting it bigger. I'm not sure it's a good way to make money (at least, not nowadays - maybe in earlier times), but I think some people just like building a huge shop and what not.
Yeah, nowadays there might be a lot more mallers. Still, that 300k got me so intrigued. If that was legit, I would do it if it weren't so tedious. -.-
I was in a very very well known mall before my main was frozen last year. I did wearables and clothing... And I probably made between 150k-300k a day during school days. When we had notice boards up about 200-400k a day. During the summer between 300k-700k a day. Lol.... The profits were awesome.. But like what was said above, Copying and buying all the stuff...took forever. Its long and tedious work.
well, it's 300k profit on the items, but like i said it was being poured back in to expanding the shop, advertisements and stuff continually. id guess he was probably actually making a loss, although i suppose in theory if he stopped spending it would be a nice, steady legit profit - hardly fun though, in my opinion.
Yea, but you do end up making neopoints..It just takes a while to get used to it. I used neomallers.com Very helpful program for mallers.
