How safe is it moving np to an account on the same IP? Used to do it all the time without and chance of freeze, but they seem to be getting everyone for everything lately.
Why not just do it on an internet cafe? I know a lot of people still do it, but I personally think, if it's gonna be a big amount, then an hour on an internet cafe would be worth it. Or just go to your local Starbucks. (Even better idea actually. You get coffee and free wifi.)
I feel as though the moving part is relatively safe. (Well, sorta depends how much you're moving) But if you get in trouble on one account, it's pretty safe to say that the other will be iced along with the first.
I've moved about 1.5 million on the same IP with no repercussions. Kind of different too, but I have also transferred NP by being on one account on my iphone using 3G and buying from my main's shop. Turns out your iphone gets its own IP when it's on 3G.
I had no idea that there was a risk to moving NP on the same IP. I guess it's just if you know you're about to get iced, you'll get in trouble. Otherwise you should be fine.
neat, didn't know that another way would be, if you're on wireless, search for your neighbor's networks
There's no need to go to all the trouble of finding another source of wireless.. you can just use a proxy. There are some good guides on NF and on the web about how to use them/where to get them. Pretty simple.
Doesn't matter if you move the np from another IP lol. If the accounts have ever been on the same IP its the same. So if theres 2 accounts on the same IP just move them over on that IP because you run the same risk.
If you don't move too much at one time you should be alright. But if one account gets frozen it is very probably that the other will be frozen. Usually when i transfer neopoints I use my desktop then take my laptop across to university where i can log in on a different ip
Some of us actually can't use proxies. I know, it's sad. I don't know why really. I think it's because our internet connection is so slow that if you put in a proxy, it's gonna be impossible to even use the internet. I mean, that's been my problem ever since. Never could use proxies, even for non-Neo endeavors.
