I don't know what the eff is going on but when I plug my ipod in, my playlist is alphabetized, but when I unplug it, it isn't on my ipod. That means I can't organize my new songs and I don't know what order I have it in {Cuz my recent favorites are at the top and I categorize things into sections} Why does it do that? X_x
Just make a playlist in itunes and drag it into your ipod???????? I usually just use Music>Artist>Album>Song when i use my ipod.
I don't get it..i'm talking about my current playlist, and it pretty much screwed it up I wanna know why it's doing that as opposed to what to do.
Ewww. I don't understand why Ipods can't be drag and drop. It would be way easier to do stuff, if your ipod is too small to fit your whole library. I'm rocking 45 gigs of music with a 30 gig (28 gig) ipod. It's hard to tell it what music you want. I can't even fit podcasts or anything either =/
Moo, iTunes is really crappy with the whole playlist thing. The iPod will dl the playlist in the order that it is normally in, without any sorting. You have to permanently change the order of the songs by dragging and dropping them instead of just organizing by clicking the "song" button on top. I discovered this problem when I was trying to shuffle the playlist and then add it to the iPod, it would always transfer as unshuffled -_- I hope this answers you question, let me know if I misunderstood something
Haha ice Nine, thanks for helping but that's not it. I've been using darn iTunes for a good 4+ years now, and it still annoys me. Charles; I don't think I like that idea one bit. There are so many songs in there that I don't have / Someone else gave me. That has got to be the last thing to do, you would think lol...if I wanted to do that I would have already. I'm not asking about what to do with my iPod, i'm asking about what to do with my ITUNES. It doesn't bother me much either way. I already got the problem resolved anyhow.
Hmm, I still don't understand what you problem is...I thought it had to do with a problem transferring songs from iTunes to the iPod, but I guess not. Anyway, as long as it has been resolved
If you're having problems with iTunes, I'd suggest just switching over to a new media player/organizer (I mean, if you don't mind transferring all your files to it, but it might be worth the trouble if you really hate iTunes). MediaMonkey has been great for me.
