Go to control panel then add remove program sort list by size take a pic of it and host it here. also if you have alot of bmp pics change them to jpg or png or delete them... also get rid of any mp3 or movies esp. avi if you don't need them anymore also run diskclean up found in start>all programs>Accessories>system tools

Also defrag if you havn't done in awhile it can sometimes give you alittle more room.. Also clean cookies and temp internet files (shouldn't be too big unless you never ever clean it out and have the size up high for it to hold)

Hmm Trying to think... Remove any programs you don't use anymore.

When you say memory do you mean the harddrive or ram OR virtual memory if its virtual memory I belive it goes by how big your harddrive is but I could be wrong. Check google.

I defrag regularly. As for deleting anything I don't use...I don't really have much, and apparently the adobe software I have doesn't take up that much room...I have no idea what's taking up all the gigs.

They are in bmp then change them to jpg or png and delete the ones you don't need.

Also resize them if they are really big.

nveer mind that then. i mean, i record music and one song takes up several gig, just due to the shear size of the wave files.

Then lower the wave file? so it is smaller

If you are using programs like photo editing software they can suck alot of it away. Just reboot and you should be fine..

But it would be best to clean up your hard drive anyway because you have less then a gig. o.0

    <quote="Deathader">here, use this

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

It's called cCleaner. It gets rid of ALL the junk on your computer, removes some tracking cookies, fixes the registry... etc</quote>

Thanks! I'll try that. I'm a bit too lazy to do all that myself.

Becareful using a reg cleaner. You can mess some of your programs up and or your comuter.

Make sure when you post next the Disable BBCode in this post isn't checked.

Yeah, only use the Reg cleaner once a mont. and when you do, ALWAYS save the backup that it prompts you to do...
