i think when pb's retire...

    you should still be able to use them just no more will appear...


    i just bought a scritchy sketchy pb not realizing it was retired :(...lol

    uh, I thought you still could use them...

    Mabey your pet just doesnt have a sketch design

    I didn't realize that when PB's retire you can't use them anymore. I does seem a bit pointless other than to people who collect them.

    Ok i asked on the neoboards

    the reply I got was

    The only UNusable ones are stone and glass

    because they are discontinued colors... or something like that

    So... you should be able to use it if your pet has that color made for it

    It'll still have value.... as collectors will still need one to complete their collections, and as they become more rare, the price will escalate.

    Trust me, they're still usable. Your pet probably just doesn't have a design for sketch. Glass and Stone are really really old colours and TNT's removed them from the site, so the pb's dont work.

    the only retired pb's that don't work are glass and stone ;) other pb's that are retired, such as faerie, still work :p

    PBs never really retire, unless their colours get removed, like the stone and glass ones.
    For example, the Faerie Paint Brush retired, yet you can win it off of the Fruit Machine if you're lucky.

    Retiring PB's is odd. The only point really for the Faerie PB saying Retired is for show and maybe to scare us into thinking that it may retire soon? I dunno, I don't see a point in having an object say Retired if it's still in circulation/being used.

    it really is retired, it was taken off the hidden tower a few years back. was 200k in the tower then.
    the only way its still coming into circulation is fruit machine/jacko random event. "retired" means you cant get it from shops.

    Yeah you can still use sketch paint brushes. I panted a Uni sketch on my side a few weeks back.

    You can still use retired paint brushes =).

    Chances are your pet just doesnt have that color yet xD.
