I hate them for making Neo so child-oriented. No more wars? WTH. o_O

Neo is strongly made up of older people as well, so why turn off so many of your target audience?

Neo started off as a child site, i think they are too lazy to change (or narrow minded). And them partnering up with nickolodean, I think it's going to remain a kids-orientated site for sometime

It is an annoyance that Neo made the site more and more juvenile, especially since I'm mostly invested in BDing. Now we have to make up our own wars.

Shawn, I'm pretty sure neopets was created for university students by university students. They started making it more cute-sy woot-sy, i'd guess because the younger age levels may buy more of the plushies or what not. I guess they're willing to forego the older markets who might be more likely to buy premium accounts/merchandise?

I wonder why they even bother with plots at all if they are targeting a younger audience. Even though these plots don't end in wars, they are still pretty much impossible to solve (at least for me) and therefore unlikely to interest the children.

powerof0, don't give them an idea. We might end up with NO plots at all in a few years. I'll pretty much quit if that happens.
