Is there a way to AB on a server that blocks neopets.

Yeah, I just wanted to use my AB at school which blocks neopets. Let me know if theres a way around this.

 

Probly not and also they will block the program since blocking at school is server side not pc side so there is no way around it for autobuyers EVEN WITH A PROXY

 

try and un network you computor, open the prog, re-network your comp,, and the prog sould work because the network had been disconected.

 

That would disconnect you from the internet. You need an internet connection for ABing.

 

No way of accessing the ab through the server unless you configure the server to allow the ab outbound access. As you are using its internet its the only way. Have many luck trying to do that.

 

theres no problem running the program is its my laptop, but I cant sign on neo cuz its blocked.... i was wondering if i could like program a proxy into the AB so that it could get around the block or something

 

Have you looked through any proxy sites? If you search the forums there are tons of lists of proxies and stuff to help with anonymity.

I always used vtunnel.com to get to blocked websites when I was in high school... But I'm not sure how compatible that is with neopets or it's login, so, you'd have to test it out.

 

I don't think so. AutoBuyers are programmed to go to Neopets.com, so something like vtunnel wouldnt work, unless your edited the AutoBuyer to make it go to "vtunnel.com" and then typing in "neopets.com", etc.

Or, you could just try to find a way to disable the school's protection. I'm sure there's a method floating around on the internet. Google it.

 

ok, im gonna try to disable the schools blocks... Let me know if anyone knows how to do this without a proxy

 

OK.... Victory.. Ive figured out how to do it. All you gotta do is open google and search neopets
---it will give u a result for the site and click cached and sign in on neo... LEAVE this window open. now open the AB and go for it! for some reason the block doesnt work wen neo is already opened on cached and the AB starts goin... sweet. Now i can just AB with my laptop in my bag all day!

 

why don't you just leave your laptop at home or in your dorm room? i mean it could overheat in your bag, and fry something overtime [...]

 

i cant leave it cuz i need it for class..... and when its in my bag it duz a really good job of staying cool. its actually barely hot wen i take it out.
