Who thinks this whole wheel event is just so TNT can find accounts to investigate for cheating? Check it out, they have a list of top benefactors http://www.neopets.com/savethewheels/to ... tors.phtml and some of their accounts are just too young to believably have that many legit neopoints. Or am I just being a paranoid neopian conspiracy theorist?
lol, firstly, you might be slightly paranoid Secondly, most (All but one) of the accounts on the top 10 list seem appropriately aged for their donation amounts. Also I doubt TNT would go through this much work just too bust a few accounts, I'm sure they have other easier ways of checking.
Yeah, I can only see one account that looks a little suspicious. This is probably just another NP-sink thing and a way to work in new designs for the wheels. I've lost all hope that this could lead to any plot-esque event.
It could ALSO be a way of getting neopoints of out circulation. I don't know how much the other wheels stopped at (or raised before they were reinstated), but 10 billion neopoints is a LOT, especially when given by the 200k or so active players
I wonder how many billions of NP that person who donated 600 million has amassed, since I doubt that he/she would donate all of his/her NPs in one go...
LOL I was wondering the same thing. I mean for me 10 million is a lot.. i couldn't even imagine having more than 100 million.. wow. Yeah I guess everyone is right XP It is a way for them to try to deflate the neopian economy... but I'm not too sure how well that's gonna work since there are so many things on the site that give free np (games) that ppl will just get more. Personally I think they should make random events more frequent instead *wishes for more PBs*
It would have been funnier they just tricked everyone into donating as if it were actually going to lead to something. That would have been a fun joke for everyone AND an awesome NP-sink.
Even though this event probably won't lead to anything, TNT seems to be trying to convince us otherwise... But what can this possibly lead to?
Yeah at first I was all excited thinking it was like one of Dr. Sloth's minions or something, but now I'm having doubts. They're probably just gonna be like "Oh hehe it's a greedy Lenny isn't that cute?" =/ Oh well.
I hope it is just something as stupid and lame as that. If it's not, I should really donate more. :| Plus, aren't we overdue for a plot anyways?
