The Apple MacBook features the latest in mobile computing technology. At its heart is an Intel Core Duo processor - that means it's like having 2 processors in one. Clocked at 2Ghz and backed by 4Mb cache and massive 1Gb RAM, this laptop is ideal for design and photo editing.

The MacBook features a glossy 13.3'' widescreen display, making it the perfect choice for photos, video and design applications. Store data on the 80 Gb hard drive or safe your files using the DVD-ROM/CD ReWriter combo drive.

Logging on to the internet is made easy by the built-in AirPort Extreme, which lets you connect to wireless networks at home or on the go. The Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology offers convenient communication with other Bluetooth devices.

Every MacBook comes with iLife ’06 — an amazing suite of applications that make it easy to live the digital life. Use iPhoto to share entire photo albums with anyone who’s got an email address. Record your own songs and podcasts with GarageBand. Break into filmmaking with iMovie HD and iDVD. Then take all the stuff you made on your MacBook and share it on the web in one click with iWeb. Just turn on your MacBook and you’re halfway there.

Yep I guess it's worth, it has cool hardware and cool design (even though there are better bargains out there).
And it doesn't look much heavy too.

I love MAC design too. So stylish and clean looking xD

If you want something else, I think Sony and Fujitsu laptops look quite nice too.

I'd say just get a windows laptop unless you already own a mac. you cannot use the rograms here on the mac nore things often from other places and you can make your windows look like a mac. If you like a mac get it, but if you already have used windows as your main os then don't bother

i'm on a mac and i use windows programs all the time. all you need is a partitioned hard drive and a copy of windows to install on it. and you actually don't pay much more for it than you would for a similarly equipped pc notebook.

If your in the UK then try ebuyer.com
    they are very good value.
Also if you know how to build a pc you can build one there very cheap as well.
They give you £10 off a £30 order if you use goodlepay. so you just order each part separately ;)

If you want a similar design have a look at the Sony Vaio.

Its still pretty expensive for what it is though.

I'd say it's worth it. My friend has this and I've used it before and it's pretty good...even though i I really don't like Macs that much.
