How often when playing KQ have you won really rare items like PBs or Lab Ray Map Pieces? I have been playing that game for a long time now and i have not won anything like that from KQ... Is there a certain amount of times that you have to unlock the Gold Key Vaults? I think it is completely random but i am not sure... help? lol
Im almost positive its all random. Out of the 254 gold keys I've redeemed, I've won 6 paint brushes. Also, Iv'e found that if I redeem keys right away, I get better prizes than if I wait to redeem them. I've spoken to several other people about this, and they all seem to think its just random as well.
What is the right way to redeem keys? If it is completely random is there any "right way" or is there a time spand that you are more likely of redeeming rarer items? Like the Snowagger for exapmle, only certain times you can get an item...
No, not the right way, right away There is only one way to redeem Keys What I mean by that, is some people will stock pile keys for days without redeeming any of them, then for a few days in a row they will redeem 10 keys at a time. I've found that stockpiling keys gets me crappier prizes, and if I redeem my gold key right after winning it, I tend to get better prizes. Also, you can only get lab map pieces, paint brushes, and the more expensive prizes from gold keys. So if possible, play a two player game so that you have 50/50 chance of getting a gold key. The Snowager is completely different, since he only sleeps 3 times a day, and thats when you can get a prize or if you're lucky, an avatar. In KQ you have a chance at getting a good prize any day, any time.
It's random. I've played about 60 something games and I've gotten three PBs, and a few expensive map pieces.
I've played Key Quest over 100 times, and so far I've won only one paint brush (Tyrannian) some neggs, codestones and the rest has been all crap...
I've never gotten anything good from KQ.. unless you count sniping codestones off SW from noobs who've won them. But that's hardly profit..
