As the title says. I Need help figuring out how to either remove ALL data from my computer or reboot it. Rebooting is kind of a problem because I don't have my system software. I have a feeling I'm using the wrong term (rebooting). I was thinking about doing a roll back any way to figure out when it will be rolled back to?
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer well if you happened to still have the disk to use to reboot i can help you out with the code =)
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer ooh...oops...heh well im not sure will this work or not but have you tried system restore and go all the way back??
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer I was thinking that as stated but I don't know how far it will roll back to and if it doesn't roll back far enough it will be a total waste.
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer you can check the date of how far it'll go back in system restore they have a calender and bolded dates where a restore point was made
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer Yeah thats right I forgot about that. Only goes back a month really just want to wipe everything clean
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer ah ok...well if you do that why not just clean it really well with programs and defragging it?? just make sure you dont touch anything in system32 file though sorry if im not helping =(
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer Use sytem resotr to the latest restore point, uninstall any program, remove all documents and look through the folders and delete the junk then I would defrag the hard drive and the registry tune up utilities has booth of those
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer yeah that might work too but it'll take a long while for sure
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer Can you not order replacement software for free? I'm not sure but its alot more efficient than having to system restore then individually removing any programs =\. If not, ask a friend to borrow theirs?
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer Can't get the software free I'm pretty sure of that. All my friends have Mac Laptops :back:
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer Well I don't think there is anyway out =\. Your computer needs an OS to be installed upon reboot, it needs the drivers, software etc. There are ways to get the disks for free but that is very risky, it's best if you just purchase again.
Re: Need Help Rebooting/Erasing ALL Data from my computer As it was stated you need an OS disc. Without it you can't get anywhere because once you wipe the pc clean you're going to need an OS to install. There are ways such as torrents to get an iso which then can be burned onto a CD but I'd suggest trying to get one normally. Did your computer come with a system restore disc?
