Basically you get one of those asian cookware bowls cut out a small hole in the middle place a USB wifi thumbstick in there... run a usb cable extension to the thumbstick and connect it to the pc...people have reported picking up signals a kilometer away.

Checked out the site, it's a shame i can't find any parabolic cookware bowls in my house, so that idea goes down the drain. But, that site did gave me a idea though, i do have a usb extension, so i used that, and now i can recieve a saddening amount of interwebs.

I also mixed this idea with a different idea of making your own antenna, using a pringles tube, tried it, it does strengthen the overall recieving, but doesn't increase the range, and since i can't get any WEP/WPA2 keys with this pc, got to find somethign else.

So, if anyone else has some ideas or suggestion, feel free to tell em.

you know a parabolic pot or w.e. costs like $5 or if you go to like the thrift store or look on ebay dude it's cheap as hell to get one plus it's worth it. You're only picking up whatever is around you close by right now. The thing will probably add 3x as range.
